Computer Based Testing (CBT) exams
NCEES began the process of transitioning exams to computer-based testing (CBT) in 2011. CBT offers many benefits, such as enhanced security for exam content and more uniformity in testing conditions. For most exams, it also provides greater scheduling flexibility.
NCEES FE and FS CBT Exams
The New Mexico Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors is no longer accepting applications for the FE and FS exams.
Passing the FE or FS Exams does not automatically approve you for Intern Certification. You must meet all requirements, outlined in the NM Engineering and Surveying Practice Act and NM Administrative Code, to obtain Intern Certification.
