This year’s theme, Transform Your Future, is a powerful reminder that engineering doesn’t just shape our world—it shapes our opportunities, our communities, and the futures we can imagine for ourselves and our children.

This Engineers Week (February 22-28, 2026) we hope that you’ll take a moment to recognize and celebrate the work of engineers and engage students in engineering. Engineer/Surveyor of Record Affidavit Notice

Effective July 1, 2017 – Pursuant to 61-23-21. (D.) and 61-23-27.9 (D.) of the 2017 New Mexico Engineering and Surveying Practice Act, it is required to file a signed and notarized affidavit designating the authorized company officer and professional engineer/professional surveyor for all business entities offering professional engineering and professional surveying services operating in the State of New Mexico.  The forms may be located on the following web pages:

Application and Supporting Documentation Submittal Deadlines

Effective June 14, 2013 – The following are required to be in the Board office no later than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the next scheduled Committee meeting: ALL applications, letters of request to re-take the PE Exam, and ALL supporting documentation.

ALL DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO APPLICATIONS AND/OR RETAKE OF THE PE EXAM MUST be received on the application deadline indicated below, by no later than 5 pm, not postmarked. Emails and faxes are not acceptable. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE DEADLINES!

Please note: applications, supporting documentation (that complete a file), and letters of request to re-take the PE exam received after the thirty (30) calendar day deadline will be processed and presented at the next scheduled Committee meeting.
